  Many couples have suffered the heartbreak of infertility or multiple miscarriages. After discussing the problem with their doctor, couples are often referred to a fertility specialist. These doctors determine the reason or reasons for infertility, or frequent miscarriages, and recommend a course of treatment. When the couple is told the cost of the procedures, it is sometimes more than they can afford, even after health insurance is considered or applied. This is where the Evan David Foundation can help. The Applicant* submits all required parts of the Application, and the physician submits information regarding the cost of the recommended treatment, as well as the likelihood of success, in the Physician Letter. The Foundation evaluates the couple’s financial resources, any applicable health insurance, the cost of treatment, and decides if the Foundation can assist the couple by providing some financial aid. * Applicant must live or work in the State of Delaware.
