Approach to Treatment
The Evan David Foundation was founded to
give financial assistance to infertile families in
the Delaware area who want to have a baby, but
need the help of qualified reproductive
endocrinology and infertility subspecialists.
Commonly there is a comprehensive diagnostic
evaluation required, followed by specific
treatment recommendations. Some of the
common diseases associated with infertility
and/or miscarriage in women and men are:
• Endometriosis and pelvic pain
• Pelvic scarring and disease of the
fallopian tubes
• Uterine fibroids and polyps
• Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
• Poor sperm production
• Aging effects on the ovaries
Many patients have some health insurance to
cover the costs associated with diagnostic testing
and outpatient surgical procedures, which often
can successfully treat underlying disease. But
many other patients ultimately require advanced
assisted reproductive technologies, such as in
vitro fertilization (IVF) to help them conceive.
Often, health insurance plans in Delaware fall
short in covering IVF, even when it is clearly
deemed medically necessary and in the best
interests of the patient.
Fertility subspecialists approved by the Evan
David Foundation have both a commitment and a
highly successful track record offering the safest,
successful, and most cost-effective IVF
treatments available. Their goal is to utilize the
latest technology to achieve a low risk, singleton
pregnancy.
For patients who have been told by a
qualified fertility doctor that IVF treatment is
their best option for success, perhaps the Evan
David Foundation can assist you with some of the
expenses. The Foundation gives grants to
individuals based on both their medical and
financial needs.
